I really love that beautiful dense finish you achieve Gretel - and since the workshop I totally appreciate how long it takes to do!!! Love the whales. x Jo
Scrimshaw art translated into fiber. You've done this so beautifully, Gretel. Did I ever mention to you that my Dad did some scrimsaw carving, greatly inspired by this traditional sailors' craft? I'm lucky to have a sample of his work.
It is wonderful to see where your imagination, curiosity and talents take you.
How positively delightful and whimsical. Whoever heard of a felted whale? We are moving aboard a sailboat soon and I thought felting wouldn't go with my new nautical life, but you have proven me wrong. Cheers, Laura

The figures you create are wonderful. I want to have a go too. Perhaps I will try a course so I can have a try
I love your fuzzy whales!
