Santa

Santa - 'Santa Claus' - an alternative name for 'Father Christmas'

Santa - A girl's name of Spanish origin, meaning 'holy'.

Santa - a small needle felted dog, just four inches tall. Santa and I would like to wish you all a peaceful Christmas, however you celebrate it and thank you for your company; my world would be a much poorer one without my blog friends, silent or otherwise. Santa says - 'rrruff!!'

I hope you have a festive and joyous holiday season. We're doing ours a day early so we can celebrate with my extended family. They are driving tomorrow. But it's a wonderfully happy, grey day!

So sweet. Merry Christmas to you and Andy. May your books be fascinating, your beer cool and delicious and your day peaceful, cozy and serene. Best Christmas wishes to you and the may 2012 be your most fruitful gardening year ever.

We'll be leaving in the morning to drive all the way to the East coast to a little cottage on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean near Charlotte, South Carolina to spend days with beloved family. Good times!

Happy Christmas to you and yours, Gretel!

That last photo of tiny Santa has just made me giggle. It is such a classic doggie pose.

I am truly enjoying this quiet day, just letting the moments flow in a relaxed contemplative way.

gorgeous, happy, little creature.

Best wishes for a happy and successful New Year;
question: how come you got as far as Ludlow to go to the Food Centre? It's a long way from the Cotswolds, although our area is well worth a visit.

Happy New Year Gretel! Hope you manage to get far and wide in your car. My son has just bought his first car - a 1966 Morris Minor!! Hope the weather stays mild so he can get used to it.
