A very tasty looking still life!

The bread photo looks like a painting, a Dutch still life or something like that. B is happy and yes, I think I will B ;).

PS; the New Site link is hilarious (BTWL).

The broad beans look to be doing wonderfully ... and well, I wish that I could have had a slice of warm bread slathered in butter and jam. Yum.

Thanks Gretel, that has made me smile this morning, what a lovely post.

Hi,

Broad beans are quite appreciated here.
They are used to make a kind of stew.
One also makes soup and they're also good saltated with parsley and garlic.
As for the barley...beer, of course or whiskey.
Brad ? yes there's some good bread here in Portugal, but hard to find.
They use these additives within flours.

Kind regards,

José

The bread looks great. I'm not familiar with broadbeans.
