Some kind of horse

A bit of a different colour scheme here - not sure if it's 'me'. It's quite bright and jolly, but I prefer my usual tertiary pallette. I like these colours - but not really in my paintings. Hopefully someone will take to it; horses for courses...

PG - Looks good to me, is this a personal piece or for something in particular?

Thanks Lorna and Gail...I'm not convinced though...it's another one of my small pics to go on sale on my site. So it's personal really.

BTW, welcome to blogland Gail, fancy swopping links?

The rosy colour especially seems very you -- and I like the drawing in general. He seems to be gathering strength to leave the oval -- and who knows where he's going.

Thanks Stuntmother, you've given me an idea for another painting...horse racing!

And they're off!

Thanks PG, all I need to do now is figure out how . . .

Hooray! And I have been meaning to say that if you found Helena's jumping for joy to catch it story inspiring, you should absolutely let it flow. We'd love to see the results.
