Helping each other

I am meeting so many lovely new people through the SOSF - Maya and Tara, you have a treat in store when you each take over the Big Admin Hat. One of my new fairy friends, who crafts lovely albums, (here) passed on news of an internet auction which is raising money for a farming family in America. It's not my story to tell, so here it is. I can't read it without a lump in my throat. Anyway, I'm donating two little paintings, unframed but in mounts. The auction takes place next week, over at the Hidden Haven Homestead blog. Sometimes you can't walk away. Sometimes you have to do your bit, no matter how small; hug your loved ones and count your blessings. For one thing's for sure - there comes a time in all our lives when we need the kindness of strangers.

'The Moon is Broken' watercolour and pencil, signed and dated

That is a desperately sad account - I am at a loss to know what to say, but I will keep an eye on the auction as it gets under way this week.

Poor moon! In the state I'm in at the moment it brought tears to my eyes!

Oh Cas, (hug) don't worry about the moon - it just needs a kind person to come along with a screwdriver to fix it's wheel. Like most of us...:)

Just as long as he's going to be OK then ... sometimes I just go through these phases of hyper-sensitivity!
