He is quite small Eric, about 2 centimeters maximum.

Beautiful snail picture, pg. Love the shapes those seed heads make.
I love snails. I have lovely brown and cream stripy ones in my garden. This doesn't stop me squashing them though when I catch them on my veg.

A lovely little snail, but he looks so huge
Such happy little things are snails - and so much nicer to pick off plants than slugs. Though don't tell the chickens I throw them over the fence - they'd be most put-off!
The photos are quite lovely. I actually remember the riddle from when I was young (took forever to come up with an answer).
